Type of blanks and finishes

2.1 JSB supplies blanks that are either die cut or laser cut – all blanks are sold as unfinished and will require polishing/sanding or buffing – each listing will specify if the blanks come tumbled – there is an option to pay for tumbling as a new stamper – my tumbling consists of 1 hour in a tumbling barrel to remove light burrs and production muck. Please make sure you blanks are finished and ready to sell on to the public. JSB does not sell out of the packet ready blanks.

2.2 Die cut blanks are cut using a die (like a hole punch) hammer or press. They are cut one at a time and orders normally take 1-2 days extra. Their finish is smooth to one edge and crisp on the other and will be supplied as specified in the item listing regarding plastic coatings. Due to the cutting process they may need a slight burr removing with a file to the back of the blank or may need to be flattened with a hammer if domed– this is not a fault just part of the normal jewellery finishing process and can be achieved with a normal jewellery file. Top tip is to file in the same direction.

2.3 Laser cut blanks are drawn from my specification and cut with a high powered laser which is currently outsourced. Items listed are normally in stock and have been given a light tumbling to removed production muck. The beauty of laser cutting is more detail and the design can be repeated time and time again accurately. The blanks come with a crisp edge to both sides and will require a small laser nobble to be filed off – this is not a fault just part of the normal jewellery finishing process and takes seconds with a jewellery file.

Cancellations, returns and refunds

4.1 All customers have the right to cancel their order under the Consumer Contracts regulations.

4.2 Your right to cancel an order for goods starts the moment you place your order and ends 14 days from the day you receive your goods (uk only) - To meet the cancellation deadline, please notify us via email/facebook messenger or phone about cancelling the order before the cancellation period has expired. Any returns for change of mind will be at the customer expense. Faulty goods will be at the expense of JSB and form part of your refund. JSB will only refund standard postal charges for returned goods not the enhanced rate if 24 or next day service is used. Any returns if accepted by JSB after the 14 days will be returned at your expense. Any goods returned due to failure of customs fees being paid/or refused can be refunded minus the original postage costs.  JSB reserves the right to refuse further orders.

4.3 If you are in possession of the goods you are under the duty to retain them and take reasonable care of them. You must send the goods back to us to our contact address at your own cost (unless we delivered the item to you in error or the item is damaged or defective - as deemed by JSB) as soon as possible once you have cancelled the order – any replacements will be sent once the originals have been returned/or proof of postage supplied and any refund due will then be actioned.  If we send the incorrect item - a refund will be offered as the first option if postage exceeds the refund amount.

4.4 We reserve the right to make a charge not exceeding our direct costs of recovering the goods if you do not return the goods or return them at our expense.

4.5 You will not have any right to cancel an order for the supply of any of the following goods:
(a) the supply of goods that are made to the customer's specification (eg textured items- adding of holes where item listed without them, or items cut to non standard sizes )or are clearly personalised, including custom laser cut items -see 4.6

4.6 Custom laser cuts – Any items requested to be custom cut will require a 50% non refundable deposit paying upfront. Once your items arrive the final payment will be requested. Sadly if you are not happy with your items – they are not refundable. If you fail to complete your purchase the items will become the property of Just Simply Blanks and disposed of as we see fit. All drawings supplied must be original and copyright free – Just Simply Blanks is providing the cutting service only and accepts no responsibility for any legal action taken against you if you breach copyright laws. Custom laser cuts normally take 10-14 days to arrive and will be supplied pre tumbled unless otherwise requested - this doesnt imply finished ready to sell blanks. All blanks will require some kind of polishing/filing/retumbling. JSB reserves the right to photo custom cuts for advertising of its service.

4.7 Patterned wires These are made from raw wire here in house. The original wire gauge is on the listing but due to the process used dimensions will change. Wires are sold per mm/cm not by weight. Batches/lengths are made on different occasions therefore 2 batches will vary and can not be relied upon - best suggestion is to buy your wire for your project in one go. If you require longer lengths then please contact JSB. Wires must be annealed before using - otherwise this will cause breakages as the process work hardens the wire and JSB cannot accept items back. All wire is UK sourced. It is made to order.

4.8 Additional orders - JSB will no longer offer to combine orders as often this results in additional charges to JSB - if you do make two orders i will add extras to make sure your not out of pocket.

4.9 Prices are now subject to VAT
